A 1-year-old boy placed his poo into his unsuspecting grandmother's hand in central China.

The bizarre CCTV footage was filmed in Jiyuan City in Henan Province on May 13.

The toddler was playing on the sofa when he unexpectedly pooped in his pants. Being mischievous, the little one took it out and handed it to his grandmother nearby. Unfazed, the grandmother calmly walked to the bathroom.

According to the baby's mother, the child is over a year old and usually uses a potty for such needs. The incident was purely accidental.

Afterwards, the grandmother cleaned up the child and affectionately called him "little sweetheart."
