Health care workers start indefinite Strike in Peru asking for a new salary structure.
ESSALUD, the social security of health say that they will proceed with the strike because the collective agreements signed in 2022, which included the introduction of a new salary structure starting in January 2024, have not been fulfilled.
They are protesting the failure to meet demands such as the lack of adequate medical supplies and faulty equipment.
