A sudden wave drenched a couple posing on a beach for their wedding pictures in the Philippines.

Lovers Kent and Jam wanted photos showing the beautiful views of Bitoon Beach but the wind was too strong in the morning in Liloan, Southern Leyte province.

Footage shows the pair, Kent embracing Jam from her back while they get ready to smile for the camera before the tide hit them and they backed away.

The photoshoot had to pause for a moment e so they could retouch their outfits and retake the pictures afterwards.

Their photographer Demster Terdex Montero said: 'While we were doing the prenup photos, there was a sudden huge wave. It was bigger maybe because of the wind or the vessels that passed by.'
