USA: The multidimensional flower show Bloomtanica opens in New York
New York, USA - May 19, 2024
A floral oasis in New York, more precisely at Genesis House in the Meatpacking District. Celebrated floral artist Jeff Leatham has created BLOOMTANICA, an immersive experience filled with colourful flowers.
Leatham was inspired by the lush atmosphere of traditional Korean gardens. He used colour block techniques, mirrored elements and digital installations to create a surreal experience. The designs are inspired by hues that capture the intense pinks of Korea's national flower, the mugunghwa, and the striking oranges and yellows of Jeju Island's magma tubes. The exhibition aims to evoke a sense of harmony, regeneration and transformation.
