A father set fire to his car following an argument with his son in southern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Ganzhou City in Jiangxi Province on May 15. A man dragged some branches and placed them under the car, then unhesitatingly used a lighter to set them ablaze. Within a minute, flames spread from beneath the car, engulfing the entire front section.

His son, realising the danger, promptly called for help.

Firefighters arrived swiftly upon receiving the alarm and began cooling down the blaze. Despite their rapid response and the powerful hoses, the fire had quickly consumed the vehicle, leaving little more than its charred frame.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the man, agitated from a minor domestic dispute and under the influence of alcohol, had impulsively set fire to the car parked at the house entrance.

Fortunately, the timely intervention prevented any further damage.

监控画面显示，一名男子拖来一些树枝放在车底，紧接着毫不犹豫地用火机点燃树枝。不到一分钟，小火苗从车底蔓延至，直到整个车头被大火包围。
消防部门接到报警赶到现场后，立即出水降温。火势燃烧迅速，很快包裹住了全车。虽然高压水枪很给力，不到10分钟，明火酒被控制，但小车经历被点燃灼烧后，也几乎剩下个框架。
事后，消防部门了解到，视频中的男子，当时因为生活琐事与儿子起了争执，加上喝了点酒，一时赌气就拿停在家门口的小车出气，所幸及时扑救，没有造成更严重的后果。
