This video captures the tense moments when a helicopter carrying seven people, mostly pilgrims, made an emergency landing in Uttarakhand’s Kedarnath due to a technical snag.

The incident occurred around 7 am and was captured on CCTV installed at the helipad.

Taking off from the Sirsi helipad early Friday, the helicopter can be seen circling a few meters above the helipad before safely touching down near a Himalayan temple, causing panic among onlookers.

Despite the scare, everyone on board is safe.

Preliminary reports indicate a snag in the rear motor, prompting the pilot's quick decision to land. Rudraprayag District Magistrate Saurabh Gaharwar praised the pilot for averting a major mishap.
