The president of a U.S. university hopes that with more visits, cross-cultural exchanges, China and the U.S. will have better relationships.

A delegation from Sofia University visited Yanching Institute of Technology in China's Hebei on Thursday.

"I think it's so important as a psychologist, I think that the human connection is most important. If we are educated, we can be global partners, we can be global educators, global psychologists. That's extremely important in today's world. The world has become much smaller and we need to be friends, so that we can improve the world as a whole.
   
So for Sophia, we look forward to continued partnership, continued visits and exchange of students and ideas and a real commitment to making this a better world. So I hope with more visits, cross-cultural exchanges that we will have better relationships. I think we have so much potential to do great good in the world, and I hope that for both countries working together."
