The Cornish Riviera Express promoted by Stateman Rail arrives in Penzance, Cornwall
The Cornish Riviera Express was a railway tour from Nantwhich to Penzance, organised by Statesman Rail. The tour was hauled by two Class 47 diesel electric locomotives 47828 and 47712 (Lady Diana Spencer) with several preserved coaches. 47828 was in Intercity livery and 47712 in Scot Rail livery, these loco are 2 of 31 survivors from the original 512 that were built.
