The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip had risen to 35,903, health authorities in the Palestinian enclave said in a press statement on Saturday.

Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli army killed 46 Palestinians, and wounded 130 others which brought the total injuries to 80,420 since the Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out last October, said the statement.

According to the official news agency of Palestine, Israeli forces conducted a series of airstrikes in the northern part of Gaza on Saturday, leading to 20 deaths, including women and children, and causing numerous injuries.

On Saturday, Israel also launched strikes in the central and southern regions of Gaza, leaving nine dead and dozens of others injured, according to information obtained by a reporter from China Central Television (CCTV).

On Saturday night, an Israeli airstrike targeting the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza killed six people and injured dozens of others, including children, according to the information. In addition, three people lost their lives and many others were injured after the Israeli forces attacked the Al-Shaboura refugee camp in southern Gaza's Rafah city.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced in a statement on Saturday that they continued their military operations in various areas of Gaza over the past day.

In Jabalia, the Israeli army dismantled a large number of infrastructures used by Palestinian armed personnel, including rocket launching sites and military buildings, said the IDF.

In Rafah, the IDF reported that they have uncovered and demolished several infrastructures, including tunnel shafts. Additionally, they discovered a substantial quantity of weapons, such as explosives and weapon parts.

The Israeli forces also killed several Palestinian armed individuals in their military operations, said the IDF.

Israel has agreed to renew talks with Hamas on a hostage deal next week, with the mediation of Egypt, Qatar and the United States, Israel's state-owned Kan TV reported on Saturday.

According to the report, at a meeting in Paris on Friday, David Barnea, the chief of the Israeli Mossad intelligence agency, presented a new proposal approved by the Israeli war cabinet to William Burns, director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

An Israeli government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the three officials discussed the basis for continuing negotiations next week under the new proposals put forward by Egypt and Qatar, with the participation of the United States.

Kan TV reported that Burns had offered potential solutions to the contentious issues that had stalled previous negotiations, adding that the upcoming talks will be led by Egypt and Qatar, with active involvement from the United States.
