Pet dog recoils in horror when he smells durian fruit
This is the amusing moment a pet dog recoiled in horror when he smelled a durian fruit.
Ms Zhao was about to cut open the fruit with a knife when Chu Qi, her seven-month-old Golden Retriever, was overwhelmed by its strong odour in Shanxi, China, on May 20.
Footage shows the pet owner stopped slicing the food when she saw her dog retching from the unpleasant smell.
Ms Zhao said: 'I had to film him because it was so hilarious.'
Durian is known to be the stinkiest fruit in the world with 44 different scent-producing chemical compounds. It has a strong pungent smell causing it to be banned from public transit, airports and hotels in Asia.
