CCTV emerged of a mysterious blast that took place in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir, leaving three injured.

The incident took place in the Kada Madana area of Purmandal in Samba district on May 27.

Visuals show the sudden explosion seeing a woman and child, who playing outside at the time, flee from the scene.

The injured have been identified as Suriya Bibi (58), wife of Shash Din, Rameet Singh (66), son of Sansar Singh, and Semroo Devi (76), wife of Dharam Chand, all residents of Khada Madana.

The incident took place in the Kada Madana area of Purmandal in Samba district on May 27.

Visuals showed the man came out of his house and talked to a woman when suddenly there was an explosion. As soon as the explosion occurred, the woman and the child playing in the courtyard of their house ran away screaming.

According to reports three persons got injured and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, Jammu. Injuries are non critical. The injured have been identified as Suriya Bibi (58), wife of Shash Din, Rameet Singh (66), son of Sansar Singh, and Semroo Devi (76), wife of Dharam Chand, all residents of Khada Madana.

Immediately after the blast, top police and security officials rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. The police official said as per initial investigation, it seems that some old rusted shells were lying under a muddy area which exploded and due to which there were some injuries. Further investigation is going on.
