A passing doctor saved a boy's life after he was electrocuted in India.

The female obstetrician Nannapaneni Ravali spotted six-year-old Sai lying on the ground following an electric shock from an exposed wire in Andhra Pradesh on May 18.

She performed CPR on Sai as crowds gathered to help.

Footage shows the medic pressing onto the chest of the kid in a bid to revive him. After about three minutes, Sai regained consciousness and taken to the hospital.

After being under a 24-hour observation, Sai was discharged and returned home with his family. He suffered no lasting injuries and thanked the Doctor for saving his life.
