Girona FC of the Spanish league (La Liga) celebrated on Sunday afternoon after qualifying to play in the European Champions League next season.
Fans swarmed the center of Girona in northeast Spain to show appreciation for the team's historic 2023/24 season.
Girona FC placed third in this year's La Liga classification, behind only Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. The team secured a place in the Champions League for the 2024/25 season, along with Real Madrid, Barca and Atletico Madrid.
