In a bizarre turn of events, the quiet streets of Lufkin, Texas, witnessed an unexpected encounter as a kangaroo, reportedly on the loose, darted out in front of a police patrol car on May 19.

Responding to reports of the wandering marsupial, officers found themselves in a surreal moment as the kangaroo leaped into view, captured in a dramatic scene by the dash camera of the patrol car. Miraculously, the agile animal narrowly avoided collision with the vehicle.
