On May 21, 2024, amidst a torrential downpour in Longyan, Fujian, a driver was captured resorting to manually wiping the windshield while driving forward.

This determined effort was caught on camera by a passenger in another vehicle, showcasing the driver struggling to get his hand out of the window and wiping the windshield with a mop with a long pole.

Interestingly, the video went viral on Chinese social networks and was seen by the driver Mr. Bai in the video, who also found the scene hilarious and explained that he was on his way to get his windshield wipers fixed.

Bai mentioned that it was raining when they left, and he hadn't realized the windshield wipers were broken. He had no choice but to manually wipe the windshield from the passenger seat.
