USA: Shooting Victim in Pico-Union

LAPD Southwest units responded to reports of a shooting victim on Normandie Ave and the 10 Freeway.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a 20-year-old male with a gunshot wound.
The victim was walking eastbound on Normandie when a male in his mid to late 20s driving a vehicle, approached and fired multiple times at the victim, according to Officer Lee, spokesperson for the LAPD.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital. Lee told KNN that the victim is in stable condition.
Lee added that the suspect fled the scene southbound in his vehicle.
There is no further information at this time.
