Romantic collective wedding sees 288 couples marry in China
A collective wedding including 288 couples took place in eastern China.
The video was filmed in Hefei City in Anhui Province on May 20.
A total of 288 couples, all employees from China Railway Fourth Bureau's key projects nationwide.
Dressed in traditional Chinese wedding outfits, the couples walked down Happiness Avenue into the central venue. They participated in various ceremonial activities including crossing a magpie bridge, stepping over a brazier, passing a saddle, bowing to guests, reading wedding vows, mutual salutations, exchanging hairpins, sharing a ceremonial cup, giving speeches, receiving gifts from leaders, and taking commemorative photos.
The festive and dignified ceremonies gradually elevated the atmosphere to its peak. Following the ceremonies, China Railway Fourth Bureau hosted a family values lecture for the newlyweds, encouraging them to cherish their marriages, support each other, and create a loving and respectful family environment for a happy marriage.
Since 2019, China Railway Fourth Bureau has held five consecutive collective weddings for hundreds of couples.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
