This is the out-of-this-world moment when UFOs appear to swoop in the sky as they buzz around near an airport in Argentina like a scene from the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

An air traffic controller recorded The bizarre footage over Bariloche Airport on May 23.

The clip shows what appears to be a group of bright white lights circling in the night sky as they follow each other in what looks like a flight pattern.

At times up to five lights seem to be taking part in the performance before they all begin to fade as they seemingly fly away from the airport in San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro.

Local media reported that the eerie light show was not approaching aircraft and said UFOs have increasingly buzzed the airport over the past year.

Several airport ground crew reportedly saw the lights.

Neither military nor civil flight officials, nor weather experts, have given any explanation for the phenomenon.
