A delivery rider was rescued after being swept away by floodwaters in southwestern China.

On the evening of May 29th, Zhenfeng County in Guizhou Province experienced a heavy downpour, leading to severe flooding in urban streets and turning them into rivers. A man was swept away by the floodwaters during the storm.

On Thursday (May 30), the Zhenfeng County Emergency Management Bureau responded, confirming that the heavy rain had not resulted in any casualties. The man swept away by the water was identified as a delivery rider. It was confirmed that the rider had managed to rescue himself and was unharmed.
