Yichang Intellectual Property Office in Yichang, Hubei province, China, May 27, 2024. Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office, together with eight departments including the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Administration for Market Regulation, jointly issued the Implementation Plan for the Construction of the Intellectual Property Protection System. According to the Implementation Plan, by 2035, the modernization of the IPR protection system and protection capacity will be basically realised, and a modern IPR protection and governance system featuring the government performing its duties, law enforcement departments exercising strict supervision, judicial organs exercising fair justice, business entities exercising standardised management, industry organisations exercising self-regulation, and the public being honest and law-abiding will be formed.
