A symphonic concert was staged late Friday night on the embankment near the Palace Bridge in the center of Russia's St. Petersburg, to commemorate the city's 321st anniversary of establishment.
The concert hit its climax as the Palace Bridge began to open to the music, with a lot of ships passing by.
Established on May 27, 1703, St. Petersburg is renowned for its numerous rivers and canals. Each year during the navigation season, over a dozen bridges, including the Palace Bridge, open and close on a regular basis, adding to the city's unique charm.
