Thousands join protest in Central London against “two tier policing”
Footage of thousands marching to Parliament Square, Westminster to demonstrate against “two-tier policing”. The protest, organised by Tommy Robinson, called for the resignation of Met Police chief Sir Mark Rowley for presiding over what demonstrators are calling London's 'two-tier policing' system. A statement on an affiliated petition claimed to oppose biased policing practices' while 'demanding accountability from those in power'. The petition does not declare how many people have signed it. The Met Police said that two arrests had been made in the vicinity of Parliament Square - one for 'drunk and disorderly behaviour and assaulting an emergency worker' and the second relating to an 'incident where a woman was subjected to racial abuse'
