USA: Baby Dies on Way to Hospital in Lancaster
06/02/2024 11:30 am (GMT-0700) | LANCASTER, Calif.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., a distressing 911 call reported an unresponsive infant. The parents promptly transported the baby to the hospital, but were intercepted by Lancaster deputies at the intersection of Avenue J8 and Fine Street. Firefighters pronounced the baby deceased upon arrival. The medical examiner-coroner arrived at 2:30 p.m. to retrieve the baby’s body, which was still on the sidewalk. The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently unknown and under investigation.
