Kerrville, TX, USA - May 30, 2024

In response to recent heavy rainfall, authorities have issued a public safety notice for various areas affected by flooding. Park Street, particularly between E and F, is experiencing water over the roadway at multiple points, with standing water reported in other areas as well.

The following locations have been identified as particularly affected: Goat Creek Road at Homestead, Goat Creek at Junction Highway, Coronado and Junction Highway, Glenn Road and West, Tivy Street, Lytle and Second, and First between Lytle and Travis. Barricades are being installed promptly in these areas to prevent vehicular access.

Residents and commuters are strongly advised to exercise caution and refrain from driving through flooded areas, even if the water appears shallow. Moving water can be deceptively powerful and pose significant risks to both motorists and pedestrians. It's imperative to prioritize safety and adhere to all warnings and road closures issued by authorities during this time of heightened flood risk.
