The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is facilitating and boosting trade and connectivity in Pakistan and the surrounding region via the TIR system of trade.
Experts shared their thoughts with Xinhua's Ali Jaswal at a freight station at Pakistan's National Logistics Corporation (NLC).

"Along the CPEC routes, the services, the freight stations are up to international standards. We use the continuous tracking systems to monitor the service quality and the delivery times at the moment using the TIR system and the CPEC route. We are helping to reduce the transit time."

"We have connected the CPEC with TIR. This (the TIR system of trade) has connected the central Asian states, which are landlocked or double landlocked. These states, now they are open to the world.
