An out-of-control truck crashed into shops injuring at least four bsytanders.

The delivery lorry was carrying sand on its cargo bed when it swerved along a road in Telangana, India on May 31.

CCTV footage shows zigzagging across the path and ramming through motorists along the way. It crossed the median twice before crashing onto a tree.

Among those injured were identified as Hussain and Naseema when their motorbikes were struck. Another motorbike rider Vinay was also reportedly clipped by the vehicle. The others who were hurt were still being acocunted for by police.

Some witnesses claimed the driver was drunk, enraging some of the bystanders and plucked him off the crashed vehicle when it hit the tree.

Meanwhile, police said the driver claimed that his brakes had failed. Authorities were still investigating the cause of the crash.
