Children were seen diving into the river from 50ft high motorway bridge.

The four boys climbed down from the road into a ledge with rails below which they turned into an alternative waterpark in Cebu City, the Philippines.

Footage shows the first fearless youngster plunging into the water before his friends followed him one by one.

They dropped a mere two feet away from the concrete base of the bridge and floated in the river as they waited for each other.

Onlooker Johnrey Reyes who was waiting for a ferry going to Bohol Island said in the video: ‘Look at them, they look like Olympians making an exhibition.'

When the first boy jumped, Johnrey and friends screamed as they worried for the safety of the kids.

Johnrey said: ‘We took the video from Pasil Fish Market in front of CCLEX road. We were waiting for a boat going to the island of Bohol. While waiting, we saw them jumping.'
