Bellefonte police department officers released a duck family that was rescued near a school in Pennsylvania.

Footage shows female cops opening the box where they kept the mother bird and her ducklings before they waddled into a river in Talleyrand Park on June 4.

They swam into the water with the officer saying in the video: ‘Good job.'

The family wandered into busy traffic in Bishop Street and officers Ian and Aliister responded to concerned residents' call for help to save them.
