Ship delivers four giant cranes from China to London Gateway off Kent, UK
A ship carrying four giant cranes balanced on its deck was spotted arriving on the Thames off Kent, UK this morning (May 5).
Special heavy-lift vessel Zhen Hua 36 had travelled all the way from Shanghai, China with the unusual cargo.
The quayside cranes are being delivered to London Gateway port and were seen off Sheerness, Kent at 9am local time.
Two cranes will be unloaded in a process that takes 6 days, before the ship then departs with two of the cranes still onboard.
