Philippines: Kanlaon Volcano Eruption – Lahar Roars Through River In Canlaon City 3
Lahar, a flow of debris consisting of volcanic material, roared through several towns near the foot of Kanlaon volcano in the Philippines' Negros island on Wednesday, June 5, two days after the volcano erupted on Monday night, sending a tall plume of ash into the sky.
Alert Level 2 is currently raised in the area due to increased volcanic unrest.
