STORYLINE:

The Israeli army continued its daily routine of firing artillery shells on the southern Lebanese border villages, causing many fires and severe destruction in the targeted villages.
   
Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) said that fires erupted in Alma al-Shaab and Dhayra, two villages near the Israeli border, caused by "Israeli phosphorus incendiary shells".
   
The NNA reported that Israeli incendiary shells had sparked a forest fire that was approaching houses in the southern village of Alma al-Shaab on Tuesday.
   
In retaliation, Hezbollah carried out an aerial attack with an array of suicide drones on a barracks in the occupied Golan Heights.
   
The group said in several statements that it also targeted the Ramim barracks in north Israel, while Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab. Yarin and Naqoura.
   
Hezbollah also launched "a squadron of explosive-laden drones" at northern Israeli army positions, according to the statements.
