A stranded mountain biker was rescued from a remote location in Napa, California, on June 3.

The injured biker was airlifted to Queen of the Valley Hospital at Hoist-Skyline Park

A swift and coordinated response unfolded this evening at Hoist-Skyline Park in Napa as emergency teams rallied to assist an injured mountain bike rider stranded in a remote section of the park.

Responding to the distress call, H-30 mobilized alongside Napa State Hospital Fire, Napa County Fire, and AMR Napa County, demonstrating the seamless collaboration among emergency services.

Upon arrival, H-30 swiftly deployed Napa State Fire to the scene, where the injured rider was located. Employing precision and expertise, H-30's rescue team carefully secured the patient in a rescue harness before executing a successful hoist operation, lifting the individual from the trail.

Covering a distance of approximately 2 1/2 miles, the patient was airlifted to the trailhead, where awaiting AMR personnel stood ready to provide immediate medical attention.

Following the transfer, the patient was swiftly transported to Queen of the Valley Hospital by AMR, where they are currently receiving treatment for moderate injuries.
