USA: Successful Cliff Rescue in San Francisco
San Francisco, CA, USA - June 4, 2024
In a collaborative effort, H-30 and San Francisco Fire High-Rise Rescue Team (HRT) executed a successful cliff rescue operation above Marshals Beach in San Francisco on June 4.
The joint operation resulted in the safe retrieval of one individual. Ground personnel from the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) also contributed to the rescue mission, utilizing a specialized rope system to assist in the extraction of an additional person.
This rescue marks the 59th successful operation conducted by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Golden Gate Division in 2024. The coordinated efforts of multiple agencies highlight the importance of effective teamwork and specialized training in emergency response situations.
