Walker stranded on Marshals Beach rescued by helicopter in San Francisco
A hiker stranded on Marshals Beach was rescued by a helicopter in San Francisco.
Footage shows the walker being assisted to a High-Rise Rescue Team's H-30 aircraft with the help of a fireman who was lowered from a rope on June 4.
The fireman put the harness on the man, and they were both airlifted to an ambulance, where medics were waiting.
When they successfully took him to the health workers, the fireman returned to the helicopter.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Golden Gate Division said it was the 59th successful operation conducted by one of their teams.
