In the midst of protests and accusations of not wanting to deliver food to soup kitchens, a complaint was made against the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello on the same subject, as well as substantive irregularities and illicit associations.
One of these denunciations is the one that came to light a few hours ago from the civil association Arco Social (which, according to its description, its main objective is to "fight corruption in times of freedom") in which they request an inquiry and investigation for possible money laundering both Pettovello and Pablo Maria de la Torre and Luis Maria Scasso, a reference person for the Organisation of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI).

The OEI is the body through which between 70 and 100 illegal hires were made, and this is what is being denounced before the courts: "In relation to the irregular hires made by the Ministry of Human Capital, through the OEI, with the aim of pretending to employ around one hundred people, who never performed their duties".

In this context, Javier Milei decided to break his silence on the situation and described her as "the best minister in history".

At the usual conference held every morning by presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni to inform and answer journalists' questions about what is happening in the country on a daily basis under Milei's government, the President himself made a surprise appearance at the conference.

Dressed casually, Milei positioned himself next to Adorni and allowed those present to ask various questions. One of the first questions was what happened with the food and its expiry dates. "What I can say is that no food was late. Furthermore, the scandal that was made...", he said and asked the same journalist who asked him the question: "Do you know how much margin of error there is in the medicine you take that could kill you?", when he received a negative response, he replied: "It has a margin of 5% and what was supposed to expire at the end of the month, which is why they made the scandal, is 3 in ten thousand".

On the other hand, a journalist approached him and asked him about the complaints Pettovello had received. Milei defended her, defining her as "the best" in "history": "It is the fault of the Kirchnerists (...) Pettovello is the best minister in history. The corruption is the fault of the Kirchnerists with the shady deals they made", he stressed.

Milei: "What I can say is that no food arrived late. Besides, the scandal that was made... Do you know how much margin of error there is in the medicine you take that could kill you? It has a margin of 5% and what was supposedly due at the end of the month, which is why they made the fuss, is 3 in 10,000.
Journalist: "So you defend Petovello?"
Milei: "I absolutely defend Pettovello, she is the best minister in history. The corruption is in the hands of the Kirchnerists with the shady business deals they made".
Journalist: "The accusations in the courts about the contracts within Capital Humano (Ministry)..."
Milei: "We are going to be implacable with corruption in all lines".
Journalist: "Are you clear about the position you are going to give to Sturzenegger?
Milei: "We are defining it because we have to define the environments well, because we are defining the next reform of the State".
Journalist: "What points would the state reform that you want to carry out include?
Milei: "More efficiency, in fact we had a talk with the people from Google because they have a module for reforming the state but with artificial intelligence.
Journalist: "Are there more cabinet changes coming?"
Milei: "No no."
Journalist: "Caputo (Minister of the Economy) is firm?
Milei: "Caputo is firmer than the whole of this building, he is the best Minister of Economy in history. I sometimes understand that it is difficult to have orders of magnitude but wholesale inflation in December was 54%, that annualised gives 17,000%. In 4 months in April it was 3.4%, to give you an idea of the magnitude, there was inflation of 17,000%, Caputo brought it down to 50%. That's a lot and a lot more to go? Yes, but Caputo is a national hero".
