Extraordinary landspout tornado captured on video in Edberg, Alberta
On June 3, 2024, Amanda Wolfe captured an extraordinary moment in Edberg, Alberta, when a landspout tornado emerged from seemingly benign weather conditions.
It was a bit cloudy with light sprinkles, and birds were chirping, indicating a calm atmosphere. Wolfe, unaware of the developing tornado until receiving a text alert, witnessed the phenomenon as a dust storm transforming into a landspout.
The tornado, seen in Wolfe's video, touched down on the outskirts of town, causing minor damage to a farmyard.
