USA: Officer Involved Shooting with Suspect Shot in Pomona

Pomona PD responded to an officer-involved shooting in the 1400 block of W. Ninth Street in a mobile home park area. One male was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. It is unknown at this time if the officer was injured during the shooting. Pomona PD does have the area taped off as they investigate the officer-involved shooting.

Pomona PD [Incident: 1400 Block of West Ninth Street]
Officers are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 1400 block of West Ninth Street. Preliminary reports indicate the suspect fired a handgun and an officer-involved shooting occurred. No officers were injured.
The suspect was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. A firearm was recovered at the scene. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office is en route to assume the investigation. Please avoid the area until further notice. No additional information is available at this time.
