Cow rescued from septic tank by fire officials in southern India

A cow that accidentally fell into a septic tank was rescued by the fire department officials in southern India's Kerala.

The incident took place in Mullurkara in Thrissur on June 7.

The video shows the thick ropes tied around its body and with a lot of effort, the cow was eventually pulled out of the septic tank. The bovine was lifted out and then the ropes were taken off.

Speaking to Newslions, Fire station officer, Thrissur said, the cow accidentally fell into the uncovered tank and was stranded inside. The locals spotted the animal and alerted the fire department officials. The cow was rescued with the team effort and later released into the field after the rescue.
