SOUNDBITE 1 (English): GRASIANO NYAGUSE, Minister of the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in China
"I think there are a lot of opportunities for the development of cooperation between China and African countries, especially in the field of infrastructure development. If you look at the Belt and Road Initiative, most of the projects that are being implemented under that initiative are infrastructure development, which is key for African countries."
SOUNDBITE 2 (French): SORY KOUYATE, Guinean economic counselor to China
"After visiting infrastructure projects and listening to reports, I was impressed by the tunnels. As I said before, I found that there are many mountains in Guizhou, and there are also many mountains in my country. I hope Chinese companies will be interested in Guinea, because Guinea is mountainous and has no capacity to build tunnels. The road conditions are bad and people have to take long detours. The tunnel project is very important to Guinea because it will facilitate our people and goods."
