USA: Critical Auto vs Ped Hit and Run in Boyle Heights

A man was struck by a hit-and-run driver and is in critical condition as of the time of this writing. The incident occurred at the intersection of S Boyle Ave S St Louis St. LAPD did not release any information regarding suspect vehicle, but did state that the victim was transported and is in critical condition. A crime scene was established and officers are waiting for word from the hospital regarding the victim's condition. LAFD transported the victim, and LAPD Central Traffic is handling the investigation.
