Villagers in southern China crafted a colossal zongzi, a sticky rice dumpling, to mark the Dragon Boat Festival.

The remarkable footage was captured in Shanglin County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on June 9.

Weighing in at over 80 kilograms of fresh pork and more than 300 kilograms of high-quality glutinous rice, this oversized zongzi showcased culinary excellence.

Its remarkable size left spectators in awe, prompting them to pause, admire, and capture the moment in photographs.

The introduction of this giant zongzi not only added vibrancy to the Dragon Boat Festival festivities but also showcased the villagers' deep-rooted affection for traditional culture and their innovative flair.

By amalgamating traditional zongzi-making techniques with contemporary creativity, they produced this unique culinary masterpiece.
