A woman mistook her cat for a mosquito, sending it flying while trying to shoo it away in China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Tongren in Guizhou Province on June 6.

A woman suddenly felt itchy while asleep, mistaking it for mosquito bites. Reacting instinctively, she swiftly lifted the covers to shoo away what she thought were mosquitoes.

However, to her surprise, it was her own 2-month-old calico cat Sang Biao nestled inside the blanket, not a mosquito. Due to her sudden movement, the cat was flung out but luckily escaped unharmed, thanks to its agile reflexes.
