The 12th Chinese University Dragon Boat Championship kicked off on Monday at the Songhua River Ecological Tourism Scenic Area in Jingyu County, northeast China's Jilin Province.
The three-day event attracts over 500 contestants from 21 universities and colleges to compete on-site, showcasing the charm of the dragon boat race.
Jingyu County has put a lot of efforts into building cultural tourism projects during the event to integrate traditional sports, cultural tourism, and industry development together.
