A mother was detained after she abandoned her young child in a street in Moscow's Marfino district on June 2.

Late Sunday night, police received a report of a baby stroller found on Milashenkova Street. Upon arrival, they met a local resident who had witnessed the incident.

The witness reported seeing an unknown young woman behaving erratically, almost overturning the stroller before driving off and leaving the child behind.

The toddler, accompanied by his grandmother, was subsequently transferred to a medical facility.
