West Bank: IDF and Shin Bet Launch Operation to Quell Terror in West Bank

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet initiated a coordinated operation overnight targeting terrorist activities in the Phara area of the Judea and Samaria Division. So far, three wanted individuals have been apprehended, explosive devices destroyed, and exchanges of fire ensued with armed militants. One terrorist was neutralized during the exchange, with injuries sustained by additional suspects. The operation remains ongoing at this hour.

In the Manasseh Division villages of Pekoa, Romana, and Danaba, four wanted individuals were arrested, and an armed militant was eliminated.

In Beta and Dura of the Judea Division, three suspects were apprehended, with an additional wanted individual arrested in Tarkumia, where weapons were confiscated.

In Kalkilya of the Ephraim Division, two firearms were seized, while in the villages of Tel and Zawata in the Samaria Division, three suspects were detained. Two wanted individuals were arrested in Ramon and Beitunya of the Benjamin Division, and firearms were confiscated.

Those apprehended and seized combat materials have been transferred for further handling by security forces, with no casualties reported among our forces.

Since the onset of hostilities, approximately 4,150 wanted individuals have been detained across the Judea and Samaria Division and the Phara area, with around 1,750 linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.
