Skilled artisan crafts stunning knives with honeycomb and pinecone designs and then slices paper to test sharpness

Guido is a skilled artisan who crafts knives for Studio OOOMS.

Footage shows several knives with a honeycomb and pinecone design in the handle.

The knives's sharpness is then tested as they are used to slice through sheets of paper.

Guido said: "You see me in my workshop working on one of the last steps of making a chefs knife. I put oil on the handle material which I made myself as well. I've put a pinecone in epoxy resin and cut it up to use as knife handle scales. I am a knifemaker living in a small village in the south of The Netherlands.

"I'm a knifemaker and create handle materials myself. When making knives this is one of the last steps in the process; oiling up the handle. I use yellow epoxy to make it look like real honeycomb."
