A car attempting to flee dragged a traffic officer on its bonnet along a road in southern China.

The video was filmed in Yongzhou City in Hunan Province on June 6.

The traffic officer, in uniform, was conducting routine checks when a car approached. The driver appeared uncooperative and attempted to flee.

The officer bravely stood in front of the vehicle, trying to prevent its departure. However, the driver did not stop and continued driving with the officer on the bonnet.

Fortunately, the officer was not injured and held onto the car until it came to a stop.

Traffic authorities and local police quickly arrived at the scene, apprehending the driver and launching an investigation.

The Lengshuitan District Transportation Bureau stated that they are investigating the matter and will release detailed findings upon completion.

Local police are also involved in the investigation and will handle the driver according to the law based on their findings. The incident remains under further investigation.
