Firemen save kitten stuck in underground metal pipe
A kind resident saved a kitten that was stuck in an underground metal pipe in an apartment building.
Footage shows the good Samaritan trying to extract the moggy from an object with a narrow 10cm diameter after it had been cut off the main structure in Phrae province, Thailand, on December 15.
He brought the pipe to the building, where his neighbours helped tinker with it and open it to reveal the suffocating feline.
They successfully saved the cat, but its head was still stuck in the fitting, which they widened with pliers and a hammer.
The cat was unharmed and cleaned up before being fed by its rescuers.
