A dragon boat race is underway in Yongfu County of Guilin City. My foreign schoolmates and I have come here to watch the race, experience the festive vibe and learn about the Chinese culture. Let's go!
The dragon boat race in Yongfu County is a significant event for celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival, which attracts a large number of spectators every year. 11 local teams will compete in the race this year.
My schoolmates and I are at the site, and the paddlers behind us are preparing for the race. We are about to join them to learn and experience the dragon boat race."
This group of students also learned how to make Zongzi, a traditional delicacy for the celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival.
