Stranded kite surfer rescued after using rocks to spell "HELP"
A kite surfer stranded on a beach was rescued after he used rocks to spell "HELP."
The man was spotted on a beach south of Davenport, California, USA, by a private helicopter who then called for help.
Video shows the man being airlifted and brought to safety.
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's San Mateo and Santa Cruz unit said on Twitter: "A kite surfer was rescued off a beach south of Davenport Landing after being stranded."
"He used rocks on the beach to spell out the word 'HELP'."
